Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Requesting materials, which are not part of the Santa Fe Public Library collection from another library is called Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Before submitting a request for an Interlibrary Loan, please check our Online Library Catalog and our Online Resources to make sure that we do not already own the book or article. We cannot obtain an item through Interlibrary Loan if we own that item.

To use this service, your library account must be in good standing. A maximum of three Interlibrary Loan requests may be made in one calendar month. Please keep in mind that items may take two to four weeks to arrive. You will be notified when ILL materials are ready for pick up from the Santa Fe Public Library.

Please note that the following materials are not available through Interlibrary Loan:

• Books published within the last six months. You may however suggest a purchase by going to your library account and filling out the "Suggest a Purchase" form
• DVDs, CDs, VHS, and other non-print media
