Santa Fe Public Library presents Pipe Cleaner Creatures and Yarn Heart Craft. School age craft for children 5-12 years old. Registration is required. Call your local branch. All crafts are free and supplies are provided. Registration is needed. Registration starts 2 weeks prior to each craft program.

Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, Feb. 20 - 21

Santa Fe Public Library presents Harrell House of Natural Oddities. Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary focuses its efforts on educating the general public about the wild wolf, wolves and wolf-dogs in captivity, and the difference between wild and domestic animals. One of the Ambassador wolves will be present to better demonstrate such points as wolf physical characteristics and behavior. The presentation will include the difference between wolves and dogs, wild and domestic animals, and some of the myths about wolves portrayed by the media, where these ideas originated, and why they are false. This program is for children and families.

Santa Fe Public Library presents Books and Babies, a Six Week Program for Babies 6 months to 2-years-old and their caregivers. It's never too early to start your child on the road to reading! Come join our play and language group for small children and their caregivers. Your child will enjoy books, and songs, and finger games from the comfort of your lap. Oral traditions and books will provide an important pre-reading experience for your child. Learn how everyday experiences can pave the way to learning success in the future.
