June 26 Wet weather (by local standards). The roofing that was in place kept the concrete slab from being soaked. Curbing and gutters got a field test, and the construction crew found that the curb and gutters in place kept the runoff where it should go, so work was not impeded by our driving rains.

June 5 Moving right along...

June 5 Work in progress: a. Masons are finishing the stem wall at the East Patio. Next they will grout all of their CMU. After that is complete, concrete crew will start forming the colored bond beam for the East Patio. Concrete crew is currently forming the steps to Country Club and the monuments signs. b. Sound attenuators are being placed. Two have been secured; six more to go. c. Electrical rough in is ongoing. d. Structural steel at the entrance still needs to be finished as well as the moment connections. e. Exterior walls have been inspected for sheathing.

May 30 It looks like an actual building...

May 30 Work in progress: The masons are working on the retaining wall stone along Country Club. The footing is in place for the East Patio and masonry will commence this week. Remaining structural steel items need to be finished along with decking for the entry portal. The sound attenuators have not been shipped; they are expected Thursday, and will be set next week. HVAC duct is continuing, however, it is being held up by the sound attenuators. The plumber is caught up but needs to have the HVAC duct complete to complete his rough in. Electrical rough in is ongoing. Concrete ramp and stair along Country Club will poured this week along with miscellaneous concrete.

May 22 Work in progress: Masons are working on the pilasters, bancos, and stonework at the South Patio. The concrete crew will be starting to layout the footings for the east patio. Steel framing is ongoing, finishing up with some soffits. Sound attenuators are expected to be delivered to the site and installed this week. HVAC ductwork is being installed. Electrical is being installed. Plumbing is starting with supply lines. Some areas of gyp sheathing are going up on the outside of the building.

May 15 The architects' Work in Progress notes: Masons are building the pilasters at the South Patio. Stone work is continuing. The CMU wall is going up at the Staff Patio. Steel framing. A welder is working on the southeast portal. HVAC is being installed. Electrical and plumbing are ongoing. The concrete sidewalk extension for the 2’ widening of the sidewalk is mostly complete.
