Event Details
Learn about different kinds of estate plans, important elements you should include in an estate plan, the tax implications of estate plans and their contents, and the importance of funding a type of estate plan known as a trust. There will be time at the end for answering questions and concerns.
Presenter
Nechama Minkowicz is an accomplished litigation attorney who, in 2020, was appointed a judge by Governor Lujan Grisham. Ms. Minkowicz holds a Master of Laws in Advocacy, a Juris Doctorate in Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts Studies.
She is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Practice Institute and the Judicial Training Institute. While in law school, Ms. Minkowicz received the Academic Excellence Award in Law Ethics and Public Policy, and the Academic Excellence Award in Jurisprudence. A proud resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, she is a member of both the State Bar of New Mexico and New Mexico Women’s Bar Association.
Ms. Minkowicz specializes in designing sophisticated planning techniques for individuals and families with trusts and estates and is a member of the Wealth Counsel, a national organization of legal and business professionals. Through her thoughtful law practice that provides direction, clarity, and peace of mind, she helps her clients navigate a process that can otherwise be overwhelming.
