Join us for a very special Family Day celebrating the opening of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum's upcoming exhibition— Tewa Nangeh/Tewa Country. Tewa Nangeh/Tewa Country honors Tewa people, art, culture, and landscapes, while drawing awareness to the erasure of the Tewa presence from the story of Georgia O’Keeffe in Northern New Mexico. Through hands-on artmaking, story time, and cultural exchange, learn more about the past, present, and future of Tewa land and how we can come together as a community to preserve the place that has captivated and inspired artists for centuries.
10:30 AM—2:30 PM | Abstract Collage Landscapes inspired by the art of Eliza Naranjo Morse, Michael Namingha, and Arlo Namingha
11 AM—12 PM | Story Time with the Santa Fe Public Library
11 AM—1 PM | Creative Activities with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum
Planning to stop by for Family Day? RSVP ahead of time! While registration is not mandatory to attend, registering ahead of time helps us prepare. Thank you for helping us out!
