Seed Library 2026 Opening

The Santa Fe Seed Library opens for the 2026 Season. The Seed Library is hosted at the Southside Library and is available during the Library’s regularly scheduled hours from March 14, 2026 through the end of June, 2026. The Seed Library is operated by the Seed Stewards, a project of the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners, and their volunteers. It houses thousands of open-pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds donated by local growers and commercial seed companies. People can take up to 5 packets of seeds. A Library card is not required to take packets from or contribute to the Seed Library.

Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners will be available to answer seed and planting questions every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM through June, 2026 (except for Saturday, May 9).
