Books Behind the Business

Featuring Lauren Cason, Founder of Refract Studio and Jerome Morrison, Systems Design Thinking, Co-founder of 505omatic.

 

Lauren will be discussing The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell and the role of storytelling in shaping technology.

 

Jerome will be discussing Immersion: The Science of the Extraordinary and the Source of Happiness by Paul J. Zak

 

Books Behind the Business: A New Discussion Series

Books Behind the Business discussion series will bring local entrepreneurs, business owners, and social enterprise leaders together to share the books that shaped their journeys. Each session will feature a guest speaker discussing a book that influenced their leadership, strategy, or innovation, followed by an engaging conversation with attendees.

  • First Event: Tuesday, April 22, 6:00 PM at the Southside Public Library
  • Ongoing: Every other month on the fourth Tuesday
    • Spanish interpretation will be available

 

 

This initiative is part of a larger effort to make Santa Fe’s libraries key community-driven hubs for professional and economic development.
