Dominic (Nick) Mandel retired from New Mexico state government, serving across different state agencies and in various positions, including administrator, public relations, trainer, and quality management.

He remains interested in leadership and management issues, productivity, entrepreneurship, business, and personal and professional development. 

He is a columnist for Round the Roundhouse, the New Mexico state employee newspaper; a volunteer with the SCORE small-business program for entrepreneurs; and an administrator and instructor for the AARP Smart Driver classroom program in Northern New Mexico.
