Practice reading aloud to a friendly therapy dog from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter Pet Outreach Program! Our dogs are patient, cuddly, and love to hear stories!

Writing workshops with Santa Fe Public Library every first and third Tuesdays of the month. Join the creative writing group and drop in for your workshopping needs!

Teens are invited to decompress after school with tea and snacks, art supplies, board games, a reading nook/nap zone, wifi, and more. 

Hang out space for teens to relax with games, crafts, snacks, study and use wi-fi.

Join us for a fiber-arts social gathering! Knit, crochet, embroider, stitch, and more! Supplies and help will be available. Bring your own project to work on in our community setting or begin a new one. All skill levels welcome! For Adults.

Youth Chess is a weekly chance for school age youth to continue to improve their critical thinking skills through the game of chess. While playing the game with other youth, new techniques, strategies, and tricks are introduced.

Come learn about, make and trade zines!  All materials provided.

The Santa Fe Seed Library opens for the 2026 Season. The Seed Library is hosted at the Southside Library and is available during the Library’s regularly scheduled hours from March 14, 2026 through the end of June, 2026.
